:not sure if I am in a correct position to say so, but the torn one is most probably the Microsoft Asset tag, and the lower half contains just numbers (unique per device) and unfortunately IMO it would not be known unless someone have MS internal control system access. You could wait for their response also, just I feel it necessary to explain so as their might be a cross language misinterpretation imo.
