Don't mark all your edits as "minor"

Hello. I wouldn't recommend marking all your changes as "minor". I recommend that you pay attention to the following things:

Minor edits are:

  • Correction of typos;
  • Wikification;
  • Minor cosmetic edit;
  • Adding hyperlinks to articles (e.g. Windows 7 → Windows 7);
  • Renames and quick rollbacks (they are automatically flagged);
  • Removing spaces between English and Chinese characters;
  • Adding unused parameters to template;
  • Adding "DISPLAYTITLE" template;
  • Changing the screenshot caption in an article (e.g. Windows 10 v1507 10.0.10005.0.winmain_prs.150125-0130 → Windows 10 10.0.10005.0.winmain_prs.150125-0130)

Not minor edits are:

  • Any changes regarding the content of the article (even if a couple of words are added);
  • Writing a message to other member on his talk page;
  • Cancellations in disputed articles. In the case of an edit war, none of the edits can be considered unimportant, since they will most likely not be so for some users.

This tag is also used in this wiki to filter out major edits from minor ones.

Thanks!
