Sources have reported today that Windows 2000 Build 2195 has hit Release To Manufacturing. Microsoft had encountered a few last minute bugs which led to the delay in release, initially slated for the 8th. Microsoft is set to begin shipping Windows 2000 on February 17th of next year. Although not clear on whether final CDs will ship to beta participants, Microsoft has posted the golden build to their beta FTP site and is expected to begin allowing downloads tomorrow morning. I haven't talked to anyone who this has happened to but I've seen posts about it on a few different BB's. Its kinda funny that the store-bought version is actually worse than the pre-Feb 17th version. Guess I'll be holding on to my old copy for a bit longer. 2000-03-18：据水木清华帖称，CORE发布了散装包和ISO版，这是最早的warez版win2000，随后某个组织release了所谓的2195.3，结果马上就被nuked掉了。之后PWA发布了OEM版，并在NFO中说明CORE组发布更早的事实。“微软在Release最终版时，一共出了两个版本，一个是没有时间限制的，一个是有120天时间限制的。而那个没有时间限制的版本，保密性极高，一般的微软职员都没权使用，只能使用120天（翻译错误，原NFO写440天）限制版的。”所以PWA就比CORE晚了几天才release。 | |||
